About the Conference

Izmir has mobilized all human and physical resources in life sciences research, biomedical technology innovations and healthcare services in order to brand itself as a city committed to health.

Izmir is now prepared for a “global promotion” conference after nearly 10 planning meetings and workshops held over a year and a half, and bringing together universities, the medical world and hospital systems, health industry, economic development agencies and sectorial/non-governmental organizations, and local and central public bodies.

This conference is more than a scientific conference since it also aims to increase the awareness of the regional biomedical sector and encourage new investments for innovative ideas.  We hope to attract foreign investment and initiate the involvement of the regional companies to expand the biomedical sector, increase and diversify the production of biomedical products and support by creating a suitable infrastructure for the development of the biomedical sector: with research and advanced education.  Therefore, there will be a diverse but informed audience well prepared to learn from previous experiences and success stories.

Two “Search Sessions”, which are of critical importance for strategic guidance of INOVIZ, will gather on the 2nd day of the conference. Although these sessions are open to all participants, we urge your participation and seek your contributions in order to benefit from your insights and experiences as an opinion leader and or pioneer of modern medical industries, healthcare services and advanced education.  The conference in general and the Search Sessions in particular, are envisioned as a means to bring together all parties who believe in the imperative to turn knowledge into social value and economic wealth.

We are confident that the Conference will create ample opportunities for information exchange that will stimulate innovative solutions, triggering the desired momentum in the health sector.
